L-U-S-E-R

After I published my last post our group yet again changed our idea ! It was definitely for the better. This time we chose to do a play based on the poem Titch Miller. Titch was a girl who got bullied because of her appearance and in the end the bullying gets so bad she commits suicide. Vicky played the role of Titch very well. Tubby was another child who gets bullied. I thought I was gonna make a fool of myself cause the lines we ( the hockey players) had to say were quite cringey! But it was grand in the end. I was the hockey player who couldn't spell which led to my friends leaving me for Tubby who finally learned in his new school to get his own back on bullys. The drama went well and we'll hear soon if any groups from our school were successful :)

Drama

Next week we are going to Mullingar for a competition were we will put on our drama. We've had a slow start to our drama and our idea of doing a drama on bullying changed a few times and now we are focusing ours on a war story. The name of our play is Tainted Beauty. Atlast our drama is begining to look like we've some hope,but we'll see how english goes today. I'll tell you more next week when its all over .

Young Scientist.

Tomorrow we're going to the BT Young Scientist in the RDS.
Hopefully the day will be good :) In October every TY had to enter the competition, unfortunately myself and Emma failed to make it. But 4 groups from our year did get through, hopefully it will be a successful day for them all :)
